In the heart of the Catalonia region, within the city of Barcelona, lies a quiet place unknown by many. It is hidden from the crowds that roam the city, and deep into a wild area of splendid sceneries.
The Canal del Joc de l’Oca is located in Torrent del Migdia. This deep notch cuts Montserrat massif, a multi-peaked mountain range, that forms part of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range.
The path we’ll take will lead us to the Camí dels Francesos, that, along with Masia de Can Jorba, which we’ll visit next, has a great historic significance. Then, we’ll head to the Coll de la Ajaguda, also known as Bassal dels Gats. And from there, we’ll head down towards the Torrent, until we reach La Cajoleta, a small yet dazzling needle.
This intriguing place has many stories behind. One of them comes from its name, which many consider is from the Game of the Goose, or Juego de la Oca, in Spanish. So we’ll jump from terrace to terrace, just as if we were in the game, going from one box to the other.
If you wish to enjoy the best rappels, and most thrilling descents, and conquer the Canal del Joc de l’Oca, just as you’d do with the board game, send me a message. I promise it will be a fun and unforgettable adventure!

Mountain Guide
Right in the heart of Catalonia, well connected with Barcelona, stands the Montserrat massif; a mountain with big natural, cultural and spiritual significance that rises sharply to 1,236 meters from the top of St. Jeroni.
I organize guided activities and courses of all levels, and offer the possibility to discover this fantastic mountain accompanied by a professional certified guide.
Along with all these activities in Montserrat, I can guide you over all the natural sites of Catalonia and the Pyrenees, a region with a wide range of possibilities for trekkers, hikers, climbers, etc.
I promote the use of sustainable transportation (train, zipper, funicular) and the development of activities that stimulate in participants a feeling of belonging to the places he or she visits. This perception of belonging, as we work with feelings and perceptions, can perfectly be assimilated to a sense of spirituality.
Our main activities are:
Spiritual values of Nature for private, groups or companies
Rock climbing
Hiking
Via Ferrata

It rained the day of my guided climb which made the trip less than I had hoped for. However, Xavi made it the best day he could and after we bailed we did some sport climbing where it was protected from rain.

Had a great day doing the highest vía ferrata in Spain ! Although we had difficulty with weather (storms), we cancelled the original day but moved it to the day after and although Fransec wasn’t available he very helpfully sourced me another guide called Oscar who was amazing, very knowledgeable, took us on a great trail and made sure we had a great time. Even recommended a great place for a swim after! Thank you Fransec and Oscar I will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent guide. Time was limited due to weather but my guide had planned out the routes perfectly and specific to my climbing level I described, allowing us to do many routes in quick succession. I felt safe climbing with him and he provided all equipment except for shoes. Would definitely climb again with him in the future. This explore-share service was also easy to navigate and helped with communication with my guide.

Francesc was an exceptional guide. From the communication before the run, to his pacing, knowledge of the mountain and professional decision-making when a situation deemed it necessary. This adventure should be at the top of any visiting runner’s itinerary.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
