Half-day Mountain biking along the Fishers Track in Ruapehu, NZ

For a half-day, we would like to guide you on a fantastic mountain biking trip on the amazing Fishers Track in Ruapehu, New Zealand.

Beginning in the National Park Railway Station, the Fishers Track biking route is an unbelievably scenic trail that will definitely take your breath away. Quite easy, the grade 2 track is ideal for mountain bikers who don’t have much prior experience.

Stretching for approximately 17 kilometers, the track, which begins with a short climb in the Erua forest, will provide you with excellent views of several amazing peaks. Those peaks include Mount Ruapehu, Mount Ngauruhoe, Mount Taranaki and Mount Tongariro. You will also get to gaze at the stunning Retaruke Valley as you descend approximately 520 meters. Meanwhile, the downhill portion of the track, which is approximately 6 kilometers long, will take you through some gorgeous farmland. In total, it should take you approximately 2 to 3 hours to ride on the track from beginning to end.

Participants on this trip should be in good physical condition.
