Heli-boarding in Romania, 7 days in the Carpathian & Tarcu Mountains

Join me in the wilds of Romania for a 1-week heli-boarding and splitboarding adventure!

After meeting up (either in Munich or Timisoara, depending on your preference), we will make a plan for the rest of our week and head out onto the slopes of the Carpathian and Tarcu Mountains.

On two days of the trip, we will hop in the helicopter and head out to some more remote parts of the mountain range. Making about five runs each day, we’ll get to try out a variety of terrains and see some of this country’s incredible scenery.

We follow up our heli-boarding adventure with a catskiing fly-in. Picking out one especially scenic spot, we’ll get dropped there in the morning and spend the day making run after run, hopefully 10 in all.

We will also have the chance to do some splitboarding, which combines climbing in skis and skins with snowboarding back down.  We will spend an additional couple of days splitboarding a bit closer to where we stay too, enjoying even more of Romania and Timisoara’s natural beauty as well as making some phenomenal runs.
