Horseback riding is a fun, aerobic, and all-around fulfilling family activity that enhances your experience in nature. With a bit of social exercise and remote wilderness, you are bound to have a memorable experience around Aspen, in the heart of Western Colorado and its incredible scenery. Glenwood Canyon sits just to the northwest of Aspen, carved deep by the Colorado River and exposing centuries of fascinating geology.

Your program combines the aesthetic beauty of the region with the thrill of seeing it from the saddle. We will make our way from the stable through striking meadows to take in views of the river in the canyon and the enchanting environment around it. With two hours to explore the area, you will become enamored with the unique sights and sounds in the isolated Rocky Mountain backcountry.

The rugged terrain and landscape was made for horseback riding, so you and your family are guaranteed a great time. We will do some gentle climbing which will ultimately lead to the best views of the Colorado River below. Glenwood Canyon is easily accessible and features high walls of up to 1,300 feet. The eastern stretch of the canyon is home to Hanging Lake, a popular and picturesque destination.

My goal is to share this beautiful landscape with you in a safe and exciting way. I will show you the most beautiful areas that I have come to know well over the course of my experience in Western Colorado. You will feel like a local when you dismount from the saddle and say goodbye to your horse.

Any riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age requirement of seven (7) years to participate.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide.
