Imagine exploring an ancient and beautiful valley in one of the most northern spots in Finland. Now picture ice climbing a magnificent frozen waterfall on this valley. Does it sound like something you might want to try next winter? Then join us on this ice climbing adventure in the Korouma Canyon, in Finland.
The Korouma canyon is a dazzling gorge that drops more than 100 meters below the terrain that surrounds it. It lies in the Korouma valley, a fracture of more than one million years, and home of some of the most breathtaking sceneries in the country.
But, one of the things that granted the Korouma valley its fame, is its impressive waterfalls. And, it is during winter, that these nature wonders acquire a special glow, as they freeze completely, turning into an ice climbing playground.
One of our certified guides will have the pleasure to take you to this amazing place, only a 2:30 hours drive from the Pyhä-Luosto. And of course, help you achieve all your ice climbing objectives. Then, at the end of the day, your guide will set a bonfire where you’ll get to share a delicious barbecue and the stories of your ascents.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
