Description
If you come skiing in Les Vosges and you want to try something different, this activity is for you! Explore the magic of skiing away from the resorts. Moreover, you will be happy to escape the crowds for a day or more!
The terrain of Les Vosges is particularly suitable for a ski touring initiation. Both in ascending and descending you will learn new techniques in all safety if you are a beginner. If you are more experienced, touring here will be a good opportunity for you to explore with me the surroundings.
Furthermore, the landscape when you leave the beaten path is unique here. We will take the time to appreciate their beauty. I am a local, therefore you can imagine that I know the area very well. If you like discovering hidden spots, I will be glad to lead you to the best ones!
In addition, if the level of the participants is adequate, we will enjoy some more steep descents and learn the techniques for this terrain.
This program is not restricted to adults. In fact, it’s a great option for a family with kids wanting to live new experiences!
And if you are curious, we can combine in one trip, ski touring with other nice activities like winter climbing (ice climbing) and snowshoeing. This is of course if the conditions are favorable.

Do you need to rent equipment? I can advice on a good place to rent skis, boots and more.

I am a certified Mountain Guide since 2009. Being a guide is above all the passion of making you discover the fabulous world of the mountain. Climbing along vertiginous walls, in a ridge between heaven and earth, or walking quietly in a breathtaking landscape.
My main goal is to bring joy to the mountaineers that trust me, to ascend in all safety in a beautiful environment.
I adapt my trips to your level so that you can fully enjoy the journey and learn from it.
I am based in Alsace, at the foot of the Vosges Mountain range. Some of my favourite destinations include Les Vosges and wild areas in Switzerland, but also Crete, Morocco and Scotland.
Besides being a Mountain Guide, I am a Sports teacher at the "Chaume" center in Orbey, where I mainly supervise discovery classes and sports courses offered during school holidays.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
