Flight to Bodo, overnight at the hotel.
Morning crossing of Vestfjord between Bodo and Lofoten Islands (4H drive). Arrival at 13h Moskenes then departure for our first ride to the summit of Reinebringen (D + 350m). From there – up we will have the most incredible view of the village of Queen and its mountains that flow into the sea. Installation in our Rorbu for 2 nights.
We leave today for the south of the island and the small village of A. From there we take a little hike to the mountain lakes of Munkebu D + 500m. If we feel like it, we will continue to a small summit to get an overview of Lofoten and the sharp mountains. At the end of the day we will visit the village of A and Queen with their fishermen’s houses, called rorbus.
Day dedicated to the discovery of white sand beaches such as Rambergstranda and Kvalvika Beach and search for marine mammals such as seals or whales with binoculars and long sight. Visit the village of Nusfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, certainly the most picturesque of Lofoten. Then we will drive to the Vesteralen. Installation in our Rorbu for 2 nights.
This day will be devoted to a boat trip to see sperm whales feeding on giant squid in the abyssal pit at the break of the Norwegian continental shelf. Optional day that can be replaced by a walk along the steep coast in the footsteps of the Queen of Norway which, for her, is the most beautiful hike in Norway.
We go up to the northern tip of Vesteralen to the small village of Andaness. We will cross Ferry to the island of Senja and several hikes will be possible according to your desires and your level of form: Husfjellet (632 m), Segla (639 m), etc … the possibilities are almost endless! Installation in our hotel for 1 night.
We return to the center of the island to join the Anderdalen National Park. We take the local GR to discover varied landscapes: boreal tundra, mountainous rock, ferns, it is the domain of Arctic fox and elk.
We go further north towards the Lyngen. Start on foot in the Lyngsdalen Glacial Valley, then walk through the birch forest to reach the Lyngshytta Hut. From the refuge, we admire the glaciers Sydbreen and Midtbreen, in a beautiful glacial landscape, with waterfalls and mountains.
Departure for Tromso through the Lyngen Alps. Arrival in the late morning and visit the city and its Arctic church, the old port and the old town. Late afternoon free to visit the Polar Museum or do some shopping.
Return flight Tromso to Geneva.

Bodo, Norway.
Throughout the trip we will stay in hotels and rorbu. A rorbu is a fisherman's hut on stilts.
Northern Norway and the Lofoten region have steep terrain that is ideal for hiking. The trails are however often greasy and wet, so you need a good pair of shoes.
The supervision by small groups makes it possible to adapt the excursions. Plan hikes of 4 to 5 hours on the ground.
Transportation by private vehicle and ferry.
