Description
When it comes to famous peaks in the world, few match the magnitude of Kilimanjaro (5,895m) in Tanzania. And for 12 thrilling days, I would like to guide you to the summit of this great peak during a biking and climbing expedition you will never forget.
Our approach to Kilimanjaro, which will take about 7 days, will take your breath away. We will travel through forest and savanna, while also crossing rivers and lakes. Furthermore, during this great journey, you will have the opportunity to talk to people around the mountain, from the fishermen at the Nyumba Ya Mungu lake to the Massais warriors in the villages we will pass through.
There is a long list of highlights you will get to enjoy during the riding portion of this trip. They include the Chemka springs, the volcanic Chala lake, the Materuni waterfall, the Rau rainforest and so much more. There is, of course, a wide assortment of wildlife you will get to see during the approach as well. So, don’t be surprised if you spot a giraffe, zebra, elephant, blue monkey, baboon, crocodile and more.
After the 7-day approach, we will change from travelling on bike to travelling on foot. We will follow the Machame route for 3 days to Kilimanjaro’s base camp. After that, we will make our way to Kibo, the mountain’s central summit, early in the morning, so you can see the sunrise. Needless to say, the views from the summit are spectacular.
To enjoy this adventure, you should be in excellent physical condition. You should also have prior biking and climbing experience as well.

The price for a group of 10 people is 2875 Euros per person.
In addition to the guiding fee, the price also includes meals, transfers and accommodation.
The price does not include transportation to and from the meeting point, your mountain biking, drinks, insurance, gratuities and personal expenses.

Participants should bring the following items: mountaineering shoes, warm socks, warm tights, pants, first and second layer of underwear, warm polar, goretex jacket, polar cowl or hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, necessary equipment for climbing, personal 40L backpack, sleeping bag and pad.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
