Certified mountain leader Thibault wants to lead you on an exciting trial running weekend through the Mullerthal area of Luxembourg.
On this weekend long trail running adventure, you will get the chance to venture deep into the wilderness of Mullerthal in Luxermbourg.
The natural surroundings of Mullerthal, which is also known as Little Switzerland, are absolutely gorgeous. There are flowing waterfalls, rippling rivers, enormous boulders, and engrossing forests.
On the first day of the trip, we will depart from Beaufort, near a famous and beautiful castle at approximately 1 o’clock in the afternoon. We will cover approximately 25 kilometres over 4 hours. Afterwards we will reach Echternacht, where we will spend the night in a hostel. There are several highlights on the first day’s run, including the wolf’s cave and a beautiful amphitheatre sculpted in the rocks.
After a good night’s sleep in the hostel, followed by breakfast, we will set out at 9 o’clock in the morning. The second day’s run will be longer and more technical than the first day. We will cover approximately 30 kilometres over 5 hours. The scenery is stunning and will conclude with a magnificent waterfall, which you will be given more than enough time to admire. After that we will return to Beaufort.
Throughout the weekend, we will be maintaining a steady pace of about 9 kilometres per hour. However, when there is a difference in height we will walk fast, and when the trail permits, we will run. As a result, participants should be in good physical condition. They should also be able to run at least 20 kilometres in a day.
Mullerthal is a wonderful area to explore. And on this trail running weekend, you will get the chance to see a great deal of it. So if you want to join me, please send me a request.
I also offer another trail running weekend in the Les Vosges mountains of France, near the German border.

Passionate about trail running, the outdoors and everything that nature provides to us, I got certified as a mountain leader by the Club Alpin Belge. I also work as a school teacher and devote my free time to my artistic pursuits.
Maps are another of my big passions. I collect them and spend hours looking at them and searching for the best itineraries in the Alps, the Andes, the Carpathians...and then I take you to explore them, running or walking.
My mission is to share with you the happiness that a high altitude lake can provide, the comfort that one can find in a rustic mountain hut and the excitement of walking along a mountain ridge. Looking forward to meeting you!
