Description

The 3,000 islands that constitute the Bohuslän Archipelago were once home to bustling fishing villages, making fortunes from hauling herring and other fish.

Now the region in western Sweden is a lucrative catch for sailors, swimmers and kayakers.

We’ll take to the waters by kayak and discover the incredible Swedish scenery.

The choice is yours to create your own adventure along the beautiful archipelago. Among the 5 itineraries to choose from, all include a day of instruction followed by a 2-day guided tour. From here you can adapt the rest of the days according to your desire.

One option is to add 2 days of higher level instruction, which includes coaching connected to your particular areas of improvement.

A second option is to extend your trip by 3-6 days on a self-guided kayak tour, which you can explore the rest of the archipelago at your own pace.

A third option extends your visit by 3 days on a guided tour, where I’ll show you the hidden gems of the area and can offer invaluable tips along the way.

A final option adds 2 days of dry activity, which involve a day of mountain biking as well as a day of climbing the crags of the chain of islands. Here we can explore the beautiful region away from the waters.

Due to the nature of the activity, all potential participants must be able to swim, as well as being aged 15 years old and above. No previous kayaking experience is necessary.

Get in touch now to reserve your place on the stunning Bohuslän Archipelago in western Sweden during a multi-day sea kayaking trip.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
