Orienteering is key to enjoy any activity in the mountains. Follow me on a unique experience in the Urbasa Range, Spain where I’ll teach you how to orient yourself with a compass and a map.
On this unique experience, I’ll teach you the following concepts:
Theoretical aspects of cartography and compass.
Practice of directions.
Exiting the mountain with group members taking care of the guidance.
Bivouac techniques: sleeping in the open.
What equipment to take to the mountains.
You’ll need to bring warm clothes, hiking boots, flashlight, water and snacks, cellphone, compass, pencil and ruler.
Our learning experience will take place in the beautiful Urbasa Range, in the northwest of Navarra. This impressive mountain range forms, together with the Andia mountain-range, the Urbasa and Andia Natural Park, a stunning park covered in beech forests. The park offers several activities for outdoor enthusiasts and dazzling sightseeing spots.
So send your request and learn all about orienting yourself in the mountain. After this, you’ll be ready to tackle any adventure.
