Description
Hidden away in one of the most enchanting corners of the Carpathian Mountains, lies Piatra Craiului—also known as The King's Stone— a magnificent landscape of towering limestone walls, ready to be explored by bold adventurers.
Join me for an day of scrambling in Piatra Craiului and discover a world like no other, by getting over rock steps, legdes and small ridges, deep in a white wilderness.
Set out on your scrambling journey in the Plaiul Foii area, right at the base of the mountain (with optional pickup from Brașov). The hike begins on the extensive, rocky trails, taking about 2-3 hours to reach our destination. For the descent, depending on the route we choose, we'll either follow well-marked trails or enjoy a more relaxed scramble down.
Piatra Craiului offers a true wilderness experiencer with its unique landscape, mesmerizing views and exhilarating terrain. From the first step on the trail to the final scramble down, every moment is a chance to connect with nature and test your limits in one of Romania’s most remarkable mountain ranges.

Mountain Leader
Having known mountains since childhood, I became a guide in 2017, after years of hiking, scrambling and climbing in the Carpathians.
I am a state-certified Mountain Guide and International Mountain Leader, member of SGLM, the UIMLA-affiliated association in Romania.
My great passion is scrambling in Bucegi and Piatra Craiului, unique areas and scenic routes found only in this corner of the Carpathians, but I also love climbing classic routes, mountaineering and hiking in seldom travelled places, where one can have a truly adventurous and natural experience.
Any tour with me involves a deep preparation and realistic view regarding the experience of the group relative to the proposed goal, so as to never compromise on safety and the guiding etiquette that I adhere to.
