Al oeste del majestuoso Mont Blanc, hay otros picos destacados, que a veces son descuidados. En este programa, quiero llevarte a un ascenso de 2 días al Aiguille de Bionnassay. Este es un desafío fantástico, una escalada en hielo y roca, y una que nunca olvidarás.

El Aiguille de Bionnassay tiene atractivas rutas de hielo fino y nieve. Su pico (4,304 m) es empinado y su larga cara norte cae 4000 pies hasta el Glaciar de Bionnassay.

En términos de dificultad, la escalada en roca es bastante accesible, con un nivel de dificultad de clase media 5 (francesa 4b), aunque las ascensiones a menudo son durante el frío del amanecer temprano. Esto significa que se requieren crampones para la roca nevada.

Uno de los mayores desafíos de este ascenso es su cresta estrecha, que requiere un uso cuidadoso de crampones, y mucha concentración. Aunque la dificultad técnica no es demasiado alta, la exposición y la cresta estrecha y las aristas de nieve finas requieren confianza.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
