Rishiri, la isla de donde vengo y donde vivo, está ubicada frente a la costa norte de Hokkaido en el norte de Japón. Es una isla circular con una montaña muy grande. Las aristas y cuencas hacen que la montaña parezca más una cadena montañosa con varios picos que un solo gran volcán.

¡No hay telesillas! En invierno, Rishiri está dedicada a los aficionados del esquí de travesía y splitboarding.

Puede parecer para algunos estar al final del mundo, ¡pero el terreno para esquiar aquí es simplemente increíble!

La llamamos la “isla flotante”.

Te recomiendo venir aquí por lo menos 4 días. Organizo programas de 3 días, 4 días y 5 días (con alojamiento incluido en el precio). ¡Échales un vistazo si estás interesado!

Te alojarás en el hostal de mi familia que administro. Está equipado con un onsen (baño termal) donde es increíble relajarse después de un día de esquí. Disfrutarás de deliciosa comida casera japonesa.

Tu estancia aquí no será solo un viaje de esquí, sino también un gran descubrimiento cultural.

Usamos motonieves para cubrir las distancias largas y planas. Luego subimos usando las pieles de foca.

Cada día, te llevo donde las condiciones de nieve y clima son las mejores. El itinerario diario y el programa también dependerán de tus deseos y tu experiencia en esquí. Si el tiempo lo permite, incluso podemos ir por la cima.

Puedes venir a Rishiri ya sea en avión (45 min) desde Sapporo o en ferry (1:40 h) saliendo de Wakkanai.

Llevaré a un máximo de 6 clientes conmigo. Dividiré el grupo por amigos o por nivel ya que seremos dos guías.

No hay tiendas de alquiler en la isla así que por favor lleva todo tu equipo contigo, incluyendo tu transceptor de avalanchas, pala, sonda, tus crampones y piqueta.

Puedes alquilar equipo de seguridad en el sitio.

Tendrás que llegar a la isla de Rishiri la noche anterior y se recomienda salir el día después del tour.

Como seremos 2 guías dirigiendo el programa, dividiremos el grupo por amigos o por nivel.

Precio: el precio en el momento de la reserva depende del tamaño del grupo en ese momento. Si el tamaño del grupo cambia en el día actual, entonces la diferencia será reembolsada (si hay más clientes) o deberá ser cubierta por los clientes (si hay menos clientes).

Puedo ayudarte con el transporte desde la terminal del ferry o el aeropuerto hasta el albergue.

Por favor, ten en cuenta que habrá un costo adicional como se indica a continuación para ser pagado directamente a mí en el lugar:

Impuesto de onsen: JPY 150 por persona por noche, si te alojas en mi casa de huéspedes
Costo de motonieve: JPY 1,000-3,000 por persona por día dependiendo de la ruta elegida para el día

Punto de encuentro

Puedes volar desde el Aeropuerto Okazu de Sapporo a Rishiri o desde el Aeropuerto Haneda a Wakkanai, donde puedes venir a la Isla Rishiri en ferry desde Wakkanai. Si vienes en ferry, podremos recogerte en la terminal del ferry de forma gratuita.

I was born on the island of Rishiri in 1969. I still live here today! Since my childhood, I have spent most of my time in the sea, going fishing, and in the mountain going skiing. I’m a ski guide (level 2) from the Japanese Mountain Guide Association. I’m the only one on the island. I have reached the summit of Rishiri more than 500 times… It’s my great pleasure to guide here and let people from all around the world discover this beautiful island all year round. We had an amazing experience on Rishiri, perfect snow, good weather and a guide who knows the island like his pocket. The very steep slopes and the overwhelming nature satisfied every wish we had. We have been looking for a guided tour avoiding the normal tracks on Hokkaido and then saw the pictures of the floating mountain. And definitively the adventure included. We went to the southern part of the island, as Toshi-san knew that there would be the best snow conditions. The first 5km we have been toed in by a snow mobile and then climbed up a several times, riding different gullies each time. Toshi-san is an amazing person, always happy, friendly and very welcoming. As said before, he knows every bit of the island and guided accordingly bringing us to breathtaking places. We all would and will totally recommend him to friends visiting Japan. The reality was much better than expectations! We had some concerns regarding the weather conditions and difficulty but got lucky with the weather and never felt that Toshi chose a route too difficult. Rishiri is a floating mountain! Steep like in the Swiss alps, but just one single mountain, which makes the it much more imposant. On the sunny day, we could see the Sibirian mainland. What are your top 3 memories during the trip ? Riding very steep slopes in perfect snow, Toshi-san with his warm and welcoming attitude, and the travel to get there and back

We had a great trip, no powder but fabulous Spring ski, thanks to Toshiya who is super friendly and excellent at picking the right route according to the weather especially in windy conditions. Thanks a lot

We had a great trip to Rishiri! The snow gods were not on our side but Rishiri is a mountain of many slopes and aspects and thanks to a great guiding team we always managed to find good snow! Toshi ran a great operation with 3 other guides which meant we were split into two groups with a max of 9 per group and two guides. This allowed the group to be split even further on the day... Special thanks to Shohei and Kosukei - very professional guides!! Arigatou-gozaimashita!!
