El Eiger (3,967m) es la montaña más oriental en un increíble conjunto de picos en los Alpes berneses. Uniéndose al Monch (4,107m) y Jungfrau (4,158m), juntos estos 3 montes crean un poderoso emblema de los Alpes suizos.

El propósito de esta expedición será alcanzar la cumbre del Eiger. Ascenderemos por la hermosa cara Norte del monte, también conocida como la Eigerwand o Nordwand. 2 días puede parecer breve para escalar un monte de esta magnitud. Sin embargo, te aseguro que disfrutarás cada minuto de esos días. Y cuando alcances la cumbre, la vista te dejará sin aliento.

Hay tanto por ver desde la cima de este asombroso monte. Además de los montes Monch y Jungfrau, también podrás ver el Finsteraarhorn (4,270m) y el Aletschhorn (4,190m). También podrás ver otros increíbles paisajes que incluyen los valles de Grindelwald y Lauterbrunnen. También puedes ver el glaciar más grande de los Alpes, el glaciar Aletsch.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
