Active Travel

Our 2-day hike in the Carpathians with Mihai was better than we could have hoped for. I don’t even know where to start. Mihai accommodated both me and my cousin, with our relatively different ability levels, so that we were both happy. He was kind, supportive, patient, fun, and informative. The areas we hiked in were amazingly beautiful; so much so that I hope to come back next year to explore more mountain ranges. We saw a bear! Mihai was excellent and made sure to make it go away by making noise. At the same time we had an experience of a lifetime seeing it! We saw herds of mountain goats and a salamander. And Mihai pointed out birds and flowers. The pension we stayed in was perfect. The food was exactly what’s needed after and before a hike and it was in a very scenic location. Before we arrived, the communication was all clear so we knew what to expect. Honestly, we couldn’t have hoped for a better experience.

All was good and well organized, except the hotel in Brasov that was under expectation (the room was not like the pictures in the web site), we left the hotel after the first night on our own expenses. We used the App. Mapy.cz which is more friendly and aquert than GPX Viewer.
