Guide de montagne

Je suis un guide de montagne IFMGA né dans l'ouest de la Slovaquie, en 1973. Aujourd'hui, je vis à Poprad, une ville située à 10 km des Hautes Tatras, les montagnes où je travaille depuis 25 ans.

Je suis venu aux Hautes Tatras quand j'étais étudiant, en été 1991. J'ai commencé à travailler comme porteur de montagne-sherpa dans le chalet Rysy. J'étais également membre professionnel du service de secours en montagne.

En 2011, j'ai terminé ma formation en montagne à Chamonix et suis devenu guide de montagne international. J'ai également travaillé comme sauveteur spéléo en Slovaquie.

En hiver, j'aime le ski-alpinisme, le freeride, la cascade de glace et l'ascension de différents sommets. L'été, je pratique l'alpinisme, la randonnée, le VTT, l'escalade, le guidage et bien d'autres sports.

En plus de voyager avec des clients, je vais parfois à la montagne seule ou avec mes amis et mon fils.

Je propose des cours d'enseignement des avalanches, de ski-alpinisme, d'escalade sur roche et sur glace. J'organise également des activités spéciales de consolidation d'équipe pour les clients et j'ai l'habitude de travailler avec des jeunes et des enfants.

Overall it's a good trip since I made it to the peak. ;-)
The only thing not feeling very well during the hiking/climbing is the time pressure (due to the schedule of the mountain taxi), so sometimes it felt a bit too pushy or stressed.
The guide is very experience mountain guide and rescuer, and that's why he could be a bit bossy sometimes.
But in the end I still appreciate all his effort and help and patience to make us a successful and safe trip. :-)3

Great experience. Didn't summit due to terrible weather. Eduard is very friendly and accommodating. We will be back

Kuro is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide, and a great guy. Highly recommend.
