Our group of 12 had a wonderful 5 day hike with Ian, who guided us on the Tour des Aiguilles Rouge. Ian was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the trails. He arranged for all our accommodations for the hike, and was very very helpful with our groups individual needs, while helping us to get the best experience possible. Thank you Ian!

Ian was an experience, steady leader, who gave those in our party confidence in completing the hike while providing occasional humor to keep everyone light hearted.

We booked a 5-day hiking trek of the Tour des Aiguilles Rouges with Ian for August 2026. There were 12 of us on the trek. Ian was knowledgeable and experienced in this area of the French Alps. He pointed out important points and knew the history of the area. It was an incredible 5 days, filled with fun and adventure !!! He did a great job arranging our lodging and food at the refuges too. Ian set up a tour for a family group. Ian knew the trails and did a great job guiding a group of 12 hikers through the Aiguilles de Rouges 5 day Trek around Chamonix. Keeping track of 12 hikers of varying capabilities must have been a challenge. Ian kept us on track, safe and was very knowledgeable of the local landscape and trails. We had a wonderful trip and couldn’t have done it without Ians guidance.

Can’t recommend Ian and this trek enough! Incredible trip and route under his guidance. We enjoyed every minute.
