En tant qu'alpiniste passionné et avec près de 20 ans d'expérience en tant que guide, j'ai travaillé avec des clients du monde entier. Chaque circuit est une expérience unique et je me ferai un plaisir de vous guider vers les merveilleux sommets de l'Equateur et de l'Amérique du Sud. Mes voyages m'ont permis de guider et de gravir plusieurs montagnes au Pérou, comme l'Alpamayo, le Chopicalqui et le Tocllaraju entre autres, et de faire de l'alpinisme dans les Alpes d'Autriche et d'Italie.
Je suis basé à Baños de Agua Santa, le célèbre coin de paradis de l'Équateur, où nous gérons avec mon amie autrichienne un petit tour-opérateur et un bureau de conseil.
L'amélioration continue et le respect de l'état de l'art sont notre mission : en 2017, j'ai obtenu la certification IFMGA et, récemment, en 2018, j'ai reçu la certification de guide national du ministère du Tourisme.
Président du Baños Trail Running Club, je cours chaque semaine avec mon équipe. Mon exploit de 2018 : Finir 1er de ma catégorie pour les 100km du Ruco Ultra Trail.
Je suis impatient d'explorer nos magnifiques montagnes avec vous.

Andean Summit Adventures provided an excellent experience from start to finish. From before I even booked, Elisabeth in the operations centre was able to answer all my questions and guide me on the best itinerary for my taste. Elisabeth was a great communicator and helped make the planning and booking phase very smooth and easy. I climbed with Jaime, an international mountain guide of the highest calibre. I have climbed with guides all over the world, including the famous Sherpa of Nepal, and Jaime is the best. He has a calming nature, speaks flawless English (for those of us who do not speak Spanish) and knows the mountains like they are his own backyard. On the mountain, Jaime’s patience is unrivalled. He is focused purely on getting his client to the summit safely. Jaime showed excellent technical abilities, while also remaining a kind and calm person. We were able to successfully summit four mountains (including Cayambe and Illiniza Sur) and at all times I felt completely safe with Jaime. Even better than feeling safe, I had a great time and enjoyed every moment in the mountains with Andean summit adventures. When I come back to South America for climbing, I will be returning as a client to this company. 10/10.

Jaime may be one of the most kind and capable human beings we’ve ever met. He let us know exactly what we needed to do to be safe on our summit, while also making it a fun and exciting experience. We were not as fit and experienced as we should have been, and Jaime made sure to not push us past any limits. We had an amazing time (even got engaged at the summit!). Coordination from Elisabeth beforehand was also clear and top-notch. An amazing trip that will forever be in our memories!
