There were no assurance given on safety and emergency evacuation matters. Given that (1) there was a rare earthquake at Mount Fuji, (2) back to back typhoons, and (3) it was during a non-peak hiking season, we were unsure how the guides would assure Mount Fuji is safe with no potential landslides or other natural disasters. All they told us was the hike is good to go. We're looking for a change in date now, please assist.
