Je suis un guide de randonnée certifié JMGA et un guide touristique national certifié, vivant localement à Yakushima depuis 1998. J'ai toujours été passionné par la nature et le plein air, et j'ai également suivi une école de gardes forestiers au Canada, où j'ai redécouvert la beauté de la nature japonaise. À mon retour au Japon, j'ai appris l'existence de l'écotourisme à Yakushima, et c'est alors que j'ai mis toutes mes affaires dans une camionnette pour m'y installer. Depuis, je suis guide à Yakushima et j'ai accompagné des milliers de visiteurs jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
De nombreux clients m'ont dit que voyager avec un guide est beaucoup plus sûr, instructif et amusant. La possibilité de communiquer avec les vrais locaux est le véritable charme du programme. Je ferai de mon mieux pour rendre votre séjour à Yakushima mémorable et inoubliable !
J'ai hâte de vous accueillir et de partager avec vous la beauté naturelle de Yakushima, ainsi que la culture japonaise elle-même qui est profondément liée à sa nature.

Junichi has been fantastic! Patient and helpful, he took time to answer all my questions. His passion and appreciation for Yakushima and its natural wonders shines through when he shares his knowledge about the island and its inhabitants. Super grateful to have had such an experienced guide who provided useful tips to make the most out of my hikes.

Having traveled to yakushima and Jun as a tour guide was one of the best decisions we made for this trip to Japan. Jun provided us with a lot of fun facts and in depth knowledge of the ecosystem on the island. Stuff that you would not find out travelling by yourself! Also, we felt very safe with an expert by our side because the weather could change rapid on the island. It was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Jun as your tour guide.

We had a fantastic guided tour and the guide was very accommodating to our needs, the overall service of the Explore-Share was also very good but i did have problems making the upgrade from one person trip to two person by myself but that was fixed fast via e-mail.
