I’ve had the pleasure of having Lalo as a guide on three different climbing trips (2023, 2024, & 2025) and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He is professional, exceptionally organized, and explains every aspect of the trip clearly, making everyone feel comfortable and well prepared. Beyond his excellent leadership, he’s simply a lot of fun to travel with. Lalo also enriches every journey by sharing fascinating insights into the local history, culture, and communities, which makes the experience far more meaningful than just the climb itself. I would gladly join another trip with him (and plan to!).

Lalo was such a great guide. Getting up the glacier was difficult and slow but he was very patient, gave great advice, and helped us summit and descend safely! Such a great experience and would definitely use him as a guide again in the future.

I keep thinking what can I say about this guy.. You’re about to meet the brother you always wanted someone who is willing to play all day always ahead taking care of you without taking away the fun! Honest, Humble, Kind, Smart and mutant strong.
