Mon père et mon grand-père m'ont appris à aimer la montagne dès mon plus jeune âge. À 12 ans, j'ai fait mon premier rappel... le long du mur de l'église du village (le prêtre n'était pas là). C'est là que tout a commencé...
Je suis passionné par la nature, l'escalade, l'alpinisme et le ski de randonnée et j'ai toujours vécu dans les Pyrénées de Lleida.
En tant qu'accompagnateur en montagne UIMLA, j'ai dirigé des programmes et des expéditions en Amérique (Pérou, États-Unis et Canada), dans les Alpes, le Haut Atlas et même au Ladakh (Himalaya indien) et à Yamalia (Arctique russe). Depuis 2014, je suis responsable de la formation neige et avalanche à l'ACNA (Asociación Conocimiento Nieves y Aludes).
Pour moi, guider n'est pas un travail : c'est ma passion. Chaque programme et expédition est une nouvelle occasion de découvrir et de partager ce qui nous entoure. Le respect de l'environnement, de la nature et de la culture locale sont à la base de ma philosophie de vie, que j'essaie de partager avec joie.

We had a wonderful time with Ramon - he was extremely helpful, approachable, and professional from the start. He was also very knowledgeable and experienced, and very flexible, accommodating and adaptable in the face of changing circumstances. Unfortunately we were not able to do the planned route on Day 2 due to the snow conditions and the high risk of avalanche but Ramon planned an alternative route instead which was very attractive and culminated in a stunning frozen lake nestled in a basin, surrounded by peaks on all sides - a wonderfully serene and almost otherworldly location. Our experience with Ramon was very positive, and we had an enriching and life-affirming 3 days. My only suggestion would be to perhaps inform guests ahead of time about what conditions they can expect in the hut (conditions in huts can vary hugely, particularly when it comes to huts that are closed) to make sure that we are fully prepared. I would not hesitate to use Explore Share again, and I hope that we can stay in touch with Ramon and plan future adventures. :)

I had such a fantastic adventure. The scenery was gorgeous and we were the only ones in the park. Ramon was a pleasure and this excursion was everything that I hoped it would be.
