Toru

Toru was a fantastic guide - if I could give higher than 5 stars, I would! He pro-actively communicated with me, provided clear input on what I needed for the hike/trek, and was flexible when the weather didn't cooperate with our original plans. He provided just the right amount of guidance to make sure I was hiking efficiently. He knew the best spots for getting great views of Mount Fuji, and shared history and cultural facts of different sights along the way. And much to my surprise, he packed everything we needed for a hot lunch at the summit. I highly recommend Toru!

Toru san took us on the most memorable trek up Fuji san. My husband wanted to climb Fuji on his 40th birthday and Toru made it extra special, he even made a cake for him when we reached the summit! Most importantly we felt safe and prepared. It was technically off season so we wanted to have a guide so we felt comfortable, he told us exactly what to prepare for and what to bring. It was challenging, but unforgettable.

He shows you a lot, is attentive and encouraging. I would recommend Toru to anyone
