Je suis né à Tokyo et j'ai grandi en faisant du ski à Hakuba, au Japon. Au fil des ans, j'ai visité l'Alaska, le Pérou, la Patagonie, la Nouvelle-Zélande, le Népal et le Canada pour l'escalade hivernale et le snowboard dans l'arrière-pays.

En 2012, je suis devenu le premier Japonais à passer le cours de guide de ski de l'Association des guides de montagne canadiens avec un snowboard. Je suis guide au Japon (Hakuba Nagano et Mt. Fuji), en Nouvelle-Zélande et au Canada depuis plus de 15 ans.

We climbed Mount Fuji at the end of May (off season). Despite a majority of our party having no previous ice climbing experience, we were able to make it up to the summit and back, and had a fantastic experience. With years of experience guiding, Yusuke knew exactly what pace to set, and was a very stoic encouragement the whole way up. Highly recommend, especially for smaller parties.5
This was one for the books! It was an amazing, unforgettable experience to have explored and hiked up to Mount Fuji. When I saw their platform and read the reviews, I thought I should give a try. I’m glad I did! My guide Yosuke was helpful and very responsive to my inquiries even before the hike. He gave me advices on what to bring, gear and other preparations needed. I always reach out to him especially during the time I’m trying to get the right gear and shoes. On the day of the hike, he was at the hotel lobby on the dot to pick me up. While the initial comms with the guide was slow, pre trip comms, planning and the actual day was fabulous. We had flexibility to do what we wanted according to skill level and weather/snow conditions. Felt challenged but safe at the same time.
