The hike to Everest Base Camp at 5,362 meters is a classic and should not be overlooked, and while the journey to the summit is a tricky one, the hike to basecamp is fairly accessible. Beyond Everest, there are excellent hikes on offer in the Annapurna Massif. Annapurna sits at 8,091 meters and offers a number of different routes, like the hike to basecamp at 4,130 meters. The Makalu Base Camp Trek is also worth checking out
