Hiking and climbing in Kullaberg

Really fun day climbing in Kullaberg. Anne was terrific and she showed us various technical routes on the rock and taught us how to lead climb. We ended the session with a nice refreshing swim in the crystal clear water. Amazing day!

There are many reasons for choosing Rock Climbing in Sweden

There are plenty of great advanced routes across Sweden, notably in Gothenburg, Skane, and Kullen, but the wide routes and network of pitches makes it great for beginners, too! Each destination features many aspects to the rock, be it straightforward pitches or water overhangs or combination routes with crack climbing. The options are endless, so you and your certified guide can tailor a program that is perfect just for you.

Best Time to Visit

The best season for a rock climbing trip is from June to September, though you may be able to enjoy trips outside of this peak season

Weather

Perhaps surprisingly, Sweden has a temperate climate. The distinct seasons are fairly mild, with cold winters reach freezing and warm summers in the rock climbing areas to the south of the country

How to Get There

Flying into Copenhagen (Denmark) may be your best bet to get to the rock climbing meccas of Skane and Gothenburg. The international airport of Stockholm directly connects most major European cities, including London, Paris, and Rome. Gothenburg also connects to Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, and Zurich. Trains are an efficient way to travel domestically, connecting Malmo, Gothenburg, and Stockholm, the primary areas for rock climbing

More info about Rock Climbing in Sweden:

Sweden is a Scandinavian country that is becoming a popular destination for rock climbers and outdoor recreation. The rugged coastline and pristine nature towards the interior of the country blend together for beautiful panoramas and views to accompany your climb. Taking advantage of the temperate climate in the south, rock climbing programs take place regularly throughout the year. Single-pitch climbs for beginners are usually offered in larger climbing destinations like Fjallbo and Molle. Trad climbing is most popular, though sport climbing, bouldering, top roping, and all other disciplines have a steady place here. The untouched nature and landscape of the Swedish countryside is an ideal place to explore new areas and add on to a rock climbing program
