Etienne is a great guide with plenty of mountain knowledge and experience. He expertly guided the 4 of us across
the Silvretta Alps, through conditions both white-out and blue sky, starting at Ischgl and staying in mountain huts in Austria and Switzerland. His passion for the mountains is evident and we felt very safe in his risk adverse hands. Etienne speaks perfect English and has a good sense of humour, which made for good company at the card table in the evenings. I would recommend him to anyone and look forward to touring again with him next year. Andy
Renato was a fantastic guide and very professional. He was well prepared and very experienced. We got unlucky and got
stuck in some very bad weather one day and he did an amazing job of leading our group out of a bad situation. The Silvretta traverse was a great trip – beautiful mountains and very nice huts to spend the nights. I would definitely recommend both Renato and this tour!
We had a wonderful day skiing down to Fiberbrunn with our guide Mathias Leo. He found deep light powder snow.
The snow was unexpectedly good considering it had not snowed for many weeks! It is only guides with the best knowledge that can find good conditions long after the last snow fall. The smiles remained on our faces the whole day 🙂 Henrik
Our group of six have just returned from a magical four day tour of the Silvretta Traverse. The sun shone,
the snow was superb and all the while Renato led us with a mixture humour, patient consideration and under-stated authority. He taught us the key skills of ski touring, including vital avalanche training and other mountaineering craft. Renato was excellent company throughout and I could not recommend him more highly. A true gent of the mountains.
Really enjoyed a day of off piste with Mathias. We were lift-serviced with some short hikes and traverses and found
plenty of fresh powder! If you are honest about what you want, and your group’s abilities, then Mathias will create an experience that works!
Great experience! My only suggestion would be to specify better the equipment needed (e.g. when booking on the website it
was mentioned “the guide has all needed safety equipment”, but after booking the guide then specified you needed to provide your own skins for the crosscountry walking etc., which was news to us). The rest was perfect!

Super day! we skied untracked snow all day. Mathias managed to plan the trip just up to our skill
level. And that’s is what you get from a good guide, he have to quickly find the right level for the group. Made the day wery exiting but safe. We did a lot of steep skiing and some steep booting but felt safe all day. We used skins to get the best areas, and some booting with ski on backpack. Recommended to get to the best areas! Our best reviews for Mathias!
What a fantastic guide who was good company, attentive, had a great knowledge and passion for the area and helped
me have a wonderful day.
We had a great day skiing with Mathias Leo and his collegue in Fieberbrunn. I can strongly recommend them!
Extremely exciting trip with good learning all the way from the experienced guide. First time on the top of a
mountain. Certainly not the last time with explore-share, and the guide Mathias Leo. Thanks!
