The regions that make up Italy are all very diverse in their cultures, traditions and customs, especially between the North and the South. Try and sample and experience these cultural differences when travelling around.
Some of the splitboarding can be extremely tough and challenging, so please have a good level of fitness and prior experience before undertaking.
Northern parts of Italy tend to be much colder in Winter, with the South enjoying warmer weather for most of the year. Summer is hot in most parts of the country.
Flights to Rome, Florence, Milan, Naples from all major European and international hubs, with flights to the Mediterranean Islands from other European destinations. Easy access by car, train or bus overland from neighbouring countries.
December-March, when the weather is coldest and snowfall heaviest.
