Description

Join me for an unforgettable canyoning experience in the famous Río Vero, located in the Sierra de Guara Natural Park, one of the most renowned canyoning areas in Europe.

Río Vero is a classic canyoning descent, well known for its spectacular limestone walls, crystal-clear water, and fun and varied itinerary. It is one of the best introductory canyoning routes in the Pyrenees, combining adventure, beauty, and accessibility in a single day.

Throughout the descent, you will walk along the riverbed, swim through narrow canyon sections, jump into natural pools, and slide over smooth rock formations. The experience is dynamic, fun, and perfectly suited for a first canyoning adventure.

This activity is especially designed for families, beginners, and anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable introduction to canyoning. Great for children from 7 years old.

Beyond the adventure itself, Río Vero is also a privileged natural environment that deserves to be protected. We practice an eco-responsible approach to canyoning, aiming to minimize our impact on the ecosystem, respect wildlife and vegetation, and promote a conscious way of enjoying the mountains. We take care of group sizes as responsible guiding is part of our commitment to sustainable tourism in the Sierra de Guara.

Río Vero offers a complete and playful canyoning experience in a stunning natural setting, making it one of the most iconic descents in the region.

As always, the activity is led by a certified canyoning guide with more than 15 years of experience in the Pyrenees and Sierra de Guara, and all technical equipment is provided.

I also offer canyoning experiences in the Pyrenees for those looking for a more challenging adventure.

Canyoning Guide

Canyoning Guide / Sportive Technician in Canyons from Spain

With more than 15 years of experience in the Pyrenees and Sierra de Guara, I offer structured canyoning experiences in the Pyrenees and Sierra de Guara, combining adventure, safety, and a responsible approach to the mountains.

I specialise in canyoning experiences that combine adventure, nature, and a responsible way of exploring the mountains, with a strong focus on safety, small groups, and environmental respect.

Beyond the sport itself, I also share knowledge about the natural environment, helping participants better understand the landscapes we move through and the Pyrenean mountain ecosystems.

My programs are designed to offer different styles of canyoning, from accessible family-friendly descents to more dynamic alpine canyoning experiences for active people looking to go a step further in the mountains.

Each canyoning day is an opportunity to explore the Pyrenees from the inside, moving through water-carved landscapes shaped over thousands of years.

I follow an eco-conscious guiding approach, aiming to minimise impact on these fragile environments and encourage a more respectful and meaningful way of enjoying nature.

Whether you are discovering canyoning for the first time or looking for a more sporty alpine experience, I will guide you safely through some of the most beautiful canyons in the Spanish Pyrenees, adapted to your level and experience.

What people are saying about this trip

John

Monica was an excellent guide and did a great job of making all of the trip participants comfortable even after accounting for various experience levels. She offered interesting commentary about the park, and she was also conscious to take good pictures on her waterproof camera. I cannot recommend the trip enough.
