Join me for a fun half-day of canyoning just an hour away from Madrid, Spain in the stunning Duraton River Gorge!

The Duraton River is the only place to practice canyoning in the Community of Madrid. Its beautiful waters invite everyone with a sense of adventure to jump in. We’ll drive from Madrid to the starting point and then hike up for 30 minutes to the top of the canyon. Then, we’ll swim, jump, rappel, and go through waterfalls and pools, always surrounded by some dazzling 30-meter granite walls.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never done canyoning before, the only requirements are that you know how to swim, do not suffer from vertigo and are ready to have some fun! Participants can be as young as 10 years old. Make sure to read the list of equipment needed below.

Price includes group safety equipment and first aid kit, showers and changing rooms. Price does not include food, drinks or tips. You can purchase a picnic pack for 15€ per person or rent hiking boots for 8€. Children’s price: 75€.

Participants need to be at least 10 years old to join. This activity is not recommended for pregnant women. Make sure to bring a swimsuit, towel, sport shoes (not tenis or flip-flops), a change of clothes for after the activity (including an extra pair of shoes), water and light snacks, and sunscreen.

Absolutely amazing experience horseback riding on a ranch about 1 hour from Madrid. The horses were incredibly well trained and the staff were able to provide very good technique pointers for both beginner and intermediate riders in multiple languages including English and Spanish. The ride was well catered to the abilities of the group.
