First we’ll meet at Somosierra. There I’ll hand out all the gear we’ll be using on our first adventure, including the neoprene suit, harness and helmet. For this first part of the trip I recommend you bring trekking boots or running shoes and a spare, instead of sandals or water shoes, as the terrain can get though at times. After gearing up, we’ll head into the canyon for about 30 minutes. We’ll begin at its highest point and start descending through it, alternating hiking and the most fun rappelling.
Then, we’ll reach the most intense part of our canyoning journey: a 9 meter tobogan, right between the second and third rappel. Also, if the group is small enough and with previous rappelling experience, there’s the chance to do a 35 meters one.
Later in the day, we’ll finish our adventure heading to Buitrago de Lozoya, where a pirogue will be waiting for us. This native canoe will take us across enchanting woods, passing the walled part of the city and into the Palacio del Bosque, or Woods Palace. Due to the easy nature of this boat, it is an activity open for everyone.
So don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to combine three fun sports in one of the most beautiful parts of Spain. Request to book this trip, and join us on this multi-adventure day trip from Madrid.
