Description

This 3-day heliski safari from Zermatt to Chamonix is your chance to pick the best slopes on the Alps to enjoy the most incredible powder in the world!

It's undeniable that the Haute Route from Zermatt to Chamonix has some of the best powder skiing in the world. This is combined with the most comfortable and hospitalitarian accommodation. And if we add my expertise as a heliskiing guide you'll be facing the most incredible adventure ever!

In this 3-day heliski safari you'll have the chance to pick the lines we'll ski, according to snow and weather conditions. On the first day we'll go to Tête de Valpelline. And on the second and third day we'll choose between several peaks like Pigne d'Arolla, Rosablanche, Petit Combin or Trient.

So it will be an intense 3-day adventure, in which I'll show you the best spots in the area. And to get there we'll enjoy a wonderful flight with amazing views.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Meet at Geneva or Sion Airport at around 5.00 pm. Transfer to Zermatt. Instruction on how to use the safety equipment with ABS air-bag, radio, transceivers. Briefing on the 3 days heliskiing.

Day 2: Tête de Valpelline

Klein Mattherhorn, descent on Champoluc, helidrop on Tête de Valpelline (3800 m). Descent on La Sage, (one of the most beautiful descent in the alps). Night in Arolla / La Sage

Day 3: Pigne d'Arolla or Rosablanche

Helidrop on Pigne d’Arolla (3796 m). Descent on Arolla (second helidrop or off-piste skiing in Arolla possible). Night in Arolla / La Sage. Or Helidrop on  Rosablanche (3336 m). Descent on Verbier (off-piste skiing in the area of Verbier 4 Vallees). Night in Verbier.

Day 4: Petit Combin or Trient

Hélidrop on Petit Combin (3600 m).  (second helidrop or off-piste skiing in Verbier possible). Night in Verbier. Or
Hélidrop on Trient (3280 m).  Descent on the village of Tour (Chamonix). Return to the airport.

  • A video or photos of the trip are included in the price.
  • Full safety equipment with ABS air-bag, transceiver, shovel, probe and harness are included.
  • If you are interested in doing several extra runs, please mention this when you make your reservation.
  • The average ski run is roughly 2000 vertical meters and it takes around 90 to 180 minutes to complete it, depending on your ability and on the itinerary.
