Highlights

Join me on this amazing hike to the most beautiful summits of Baba Mountain Range in Pelister National Park, Macedonia.

The Pelister National Park is located on the  south west area of Macedonia and it was this country’s first National Park, declared in 1948. Inside you can find lots of hikes that climb up the impressive Baba Mountain Range which is famous for its natural richness and historic and scientific importance.

And I wish to guide you to some of these interesting trails. That’s why I offer you several options, although I think your best option will be to stay for a few days and do them all. This way you’ll have a real understanding of this National Park beauty.

The best way to approach this hikes is starting from the city of Bitola, which is just a few kilometers away from the Park. And once inside there are so many interesting features to explore that it would be impossible to describe in these lines.

The Malovista village to Mala Cuka peak option will take us through an old mountain village, with ancient churches worthwhile to explore, and then up to a viewpoint with breathtaking views of the Prespa lake, which is shared by 3 countries –Albania, Greece and Macedonia-.

The Pelister peak option can take us through an interesting trail made in the 1st World War that goes along an amazing pine forest which takes us to the highest summit in the Park.

And the last option is to go to the Big mountain lake. For this we’ll start hiking at 1170 meters from the Nizе pole settlement, and it will take us about 3 hours to get to the lake at 2218m.

So don’t hesitate and send me a request to book this 3-day Hiking in Macedonia’s Pelister National Park. It’s an experience you won’t regret. Macedonia and its amazing mountains are waiting for you.
