Description

This Catalonia Rock climbing tour will take you to the most representative rock climbing area in Spain!

So it’s an amazing opportunity to climb around some magnificent rocks, walls and needles. Also, we’ll go to the rock climbing birthplace of Catalonia: Montserrat.

I’ve learnt how to climb in this area and I’ve being working as a guide here for a long time. So I know every spot and the best way to approach them!

From the moment I’ll pick you up in Barcelona, we’ll enter a journey through places that are true natural wonders. But we’ll be visiting the places that were the cradle of rock climbing in Spain.

During these five days, we’ll climb the unique Cavall Bernat needle in Montserrat, the incredible climbing walls of Vilanova and El Salvaje Montrebei, among many others.

This 5-day journey will indeed give us enough time to discover the best routes in Catalonia. You’ll be able to choose which route you want to try and maybe which one you prefer to skip. We’ll also be staying in cozy mountain huts where we can meet other climbers and have a blast!

So please send me a request and I’ll make sure this Catalonia rock climbing tour is an unforgettable experience!

Mountain Guide

UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain Guide from Spain

My love for mountains made me become a professional Mountain Guide. I first got the climbing and high mountain guide certification, and recently the international UIAGM/IFMGA certification.

I’ve climbed a lot in the mountains in Montserrat, the walls where I learned how to climb, and where I live now. For me, Montserrat has been the best climbing school I could ever have, and is still a never ending source of new challenges and motivation.

Get in touch with me, I’ll be glad to guide you around this region that I love!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
