Description
I invite you to take part in a mountain biking trip under the midnight sun in Lapland with a professional IFMGA mountain guide. We will spend 5 days biking in natural parks, a truly is a once-in-a-lifetime-experience.
Lapland is a special place to visit, as you can feel and breath the freshest air in the world, see wilderness, hear the silence and enjoy clean food. During the program the sun will be with us almost all night long.
We will bike for 4-5 days or nights in the natural environments of Lapland. Keep in mind that we don’t use fixed trails or stages, and we don’t always go through the same route, but we always try to find the best and most interesting journey and single tracks for you.
For some destinations we might use ski lifts to reach the funnest and most enjoyable trails in quicker time. Our daily biking will cover a distance of 20-50 km, with 400-800m +- verticals/day.
Although this program is aimed at all biking levels, it is necessary to have single track experience and to be fit enough to mountain biking

The price does not include: Getting to Levi, bike, personal bike gear, drinks, snacks, personal equipment and insurance. A minimum of 3 people is required.

About the guide
Jarmo
Mountain Guide
Jarmo Jobo Metsäkoivu is IFMGA / UIAGM / IVBV mountain guide. He has born and lived all his childhood in Lapland Finland. He started his mountain journey from the Lapland, and more than 20 years he has been traveling in the mountains, that still are his passion.
Nowadays he is based in Chamonix (France) but enjoys going every summer for mountain biking in Finland under the midnight sun and nightless nights.
Jobo is a founder of Yellowsnowguides that offers all mountain related outdoor
experiences. He is also ski touring in Lapland during spring months, but he is also keen for mountaineering at Alps.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
