Situated in the very northern tip of Finland is the famed Lapland, heading out on an 8-day e-Fatbike tour is the perfect way to experience this beautiful and remote part of the world!
Starting from Kilpisjärvi, we will spend each day using the e-Fatbike to explore the stunning wild fell highlands.
The hybrid bikes have a motor and allow for pedaling, providing some assistance going uphill while still giving you the full mountain biking experience.
The adventure begins as we leave the small village of Kilpisjärvi and cross a series of frozen lakes en route to the fells. The next days will be spent ascending and descending fells until we reach the summit of Finland.
We will head to Halti Fell (1,328 meters) from the top of which there are views for about 100 kilometers on a clear day.
The rest of the trip will be spent gradually returning to Kilpisjärvi. As we return, we'll have the option to do a bit of wilderness skiing, both exploring the area and traveling down through the fells.
At the end of the trip, we'll have one last day in Kilpisjärvi to unwind and try out the traditional sauna before saying farewell.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this unforgettable 8-day e-Fatbike tour of Finnish Lapland!

Please note, only dinner is included in the price of the trip on this day.
We begin our Arctic e-Fatbike Challenge in the morning, riding across a series of frozen lakes and briefly crossing the border into Norway, where we will eat lunch.
Afterwards, we return to Finland and ride on to the Kuonjarjoki Wilderness Hut.
We will begin the day by riding over the wild fell highlands, getting the chance to see up to 100 kilometers into the distance on a clear day.
As we e-cycle through the fells, we will also get a chance to visit the Pihtsusköngäs Falls before arriving at the Pihtsusjärvi Wilderness Hut.
We begin the day by ascending to Halti Fell and by the afternoon will have reached the highest point in Finland, at 1,328 meters.
We will finish the day by arriving at the Halti Wilderness Hut.
If we could not reach the top of Halti Fell the previous day, we will e-cycle straight to the Meekonjärvi Wilderness Hut and spend the afternoon doing a bit of wilderness skiing.
We will start the day by cycling 15 kilometers until we reach the Kuonjarjoki Wilderness Hut. Here, we will swap our e-bikes for skis and ski another 5 kilometers through the gorgeous Salmikuru gorge to the Termisjärvi Wilderness Hut.
We will depart from the wild fell highlands and e-cycle back to Kilpisjärvi, where we can relax for the rest of the day and use the sauna in the evening.
We will transfer back to Tromsø, Norway.

Great wilderness experience with Hannele and Claudia at Bliss Adventure in mid-January. Beautiful winter wilderness landscape and overnight stay in rustic but very comfortable log cabin. Remote and undisturbed but at the same time not too strenuous and appropriate for beginner/intermediate level skiers. Excellent organization and guiding. Highly recommended.
