Description

Come explore the skies of Southern California from the lofty heights of Soboda Moutain, outside of Los Angeles!

Over the course of five days, we will discover this life changing and highly addictive form of outdoor recreation.

To start, we will learn how to build our wings, which is the toughest part of paragliding and something that is not naturally intuitive. As we do this, you’ll learn the necessary techniques to get you in the air and build muscle memory for parts of the body you might never have used before.

After going over some basic safety and take off information, we will be prepared for the next step, which is the most exciting part: flying.

After having done all the hard work in the first half of the course, this will be the fun part as you will see how easy it is to take off and become airborne.

Sit back and relax, incidentally the best way to fly, and enjoy stunning views out of Southern California. Once you’ve mastered landing, you’ll spend the rest of the course making various glides along the mountain and be fully certified with a P2 license.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
