Description
Join us on an awesome week of running through the mountains in Romania. We’ll spend our days exploring some fantastic trails and our nights relaxing in a mountain cottage. What’s more fun than that?
What to expect
Our guides are all certified and experienced. They’re also great runners who know the best spots in the mountain. On this trip, we’ll take you to the Piatra Craiului Mountains and the Bucegi Mountains.
Along the way, you’ll get to enjoy awesome sites like the Ialomita waterfall, the amazing Sphinx formation and more. We’ll also cross the Bucegi plateau.
We’ll keep the trip interesting by passing through some technical sections. You’ll also have plenty of time to have fun and enjoy the scenery. We’ll also have time to relax in the evenings at the Moeciu de Sus cottage, where you’ll be able to unwind and take in the fresh mountain air.

Day 1: Moieciu - Sphinx - Babele

Day 2: EcoMaraton loop 1-2
27.5 km covered with a 1,400m altitude difference over approx 2.5 – 3.5 hours
Day 3: EcoMaraton loop route 3 3 extended
16 km covered with an 1,100 m altitude difference over approx 1.5 – 2.5 hours.
Day 4: Piatra Craiului circuit route
36 km covered with a 2,700 m altitude difference over approx 5.5 – 7 hours.
Day 5: Zărnesti Route - Piatra Craiului Ridge
33 km covered with a 2,200 m altitude difference over 6 – 7 hours.
Day 6: Bucegi Circuit Route
41.5 km covered with a 2,700 m altitude difference over approx 6 – 7.5 hours.
Day 7: Ialomița Waterfall Circuit
35 km covered with a 2,200 m altitude difference over approx 5 – 6 hours.
