Chamonix is a world-class skiing destination of epic proportion. Its allure invites thousands of skiers, snowboarders, and alpine adventurers of every stripe to its fulfilling slopes and peaks. Zermatt, surrounded by the indomitable walls of the Pennine Alps which include Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn, is just as enticing. Combine these two snowy masterpieces with the Haute Route and you have the ski trip of a lifetime!
Your program places you in the middle of one of the world’s most beautiful and accommodating locations for ski touring. Along the classic Haute Route, you will travel hut-to-hut and dig in to the runs and lines that have made it a top tier destination year after year. The glaciated mountains and pure snow of the highest caliber offers the perfect terrain for a sustained tour through steep couloirs, glaciers, and never-ending runs.
The Haute Route begins in Chamonix, and you will take on the obstacles along your way through France and Switzerland. Along with the excitement of the touring program, you can find yourself beneath some of the most notable peaks in the world. Starting in the shadow of Mont Blanc you will move along the high-mountain route of stunning alpine meadows and evocative towers of rock.
To enhance your program, you will spend your nights between Chamonix and Zermatt in the enchanting mountain refuges of the countryside. We can take advantage of full Alpine immersion and access to truly discover the best of the backcountry. Experience traditional mountain hospitality and expose yourself to the diverse cultures of the Alps.
From the resorts of the tourist destinations to the mountain villages in between, you will see every bit of the European mountainside. We will enjoy delectable food and drink that will make you feel at home when you relax after a long day of skiing. You will have more than a week to cruise the countryside, so you can expect to feel like a local when you culminate your trip. It is a great social experience to share with other like-minded adventurers!
This program is designed for intermediate and advanced skiers with backcountry and touring experience. I high level of fitness is required for the trip, and you can expect six to seven hours of skiing a day. It is a sustained journey, so you should be both physically and mentally prepared for this type of program.

I will ensure you take on the thrilling challenges in a safe, fun, and satisfying program that you will talk about long after you hang up your skis.
