Trekking to Cerro López, Argentina

Looking for a memorable winter trekking experience in the mountains? This is one of the top day hikes in San Carlos de Bariloche!

We'll begin our adventure from the iconic Circuito Chico area, hiking through a lush forest of native coihue trees. As we gain elevation, the scenery becomes increasingly mesmerizing with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lakes.

Our destination is the cozy Refugio López, where we'll take a well-earned break, warm up, and enjoy the spectacular alpine setting before beginning our descent back to the trailhead the same day.

Depending on conditions, we'll assess the need for snowshoes, crampons, or winter boots to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey during the winter and spring seasons.
