Amazon traditions and nature discovery, 3-day Amazon rainforest tour from Manaus

On this fantastic program, we’ll pick you up at around 8:30 a.m. from your hotel, and drive to the Manaus Port. Thereupon, a speed boat adventure begins, crossing Rio Negro, and reaching the charming village of Cacau Pirera at about 9:30. After that, we’ll travel by car for approximately another 50 minutes until we get to the village of Paricatuba. And from there, another exciting part of the program starts, a trip on a motorized canoe to our Lodge. Upon arrival, we’ll have an exquisite lunch made with local ingredients. Later, our guide will take us on a canoe expedition across small creeks. There, we’ll go fishing for piranhas. And after all that excitement, the night will be the scenery of our adventure to seek alligators and nocturnal wildlife. Then, to top off, we’ll have another delicious meal for dinner.

After a fresh breakfast, we’ll go on a trek to learn about medicinal flora of the Amazon rainforest. The higher we walk, the bigger the trees and more dense the forest gets. Later on, we’ll get lunch, and then go on a paddling canoe trip.

Our last day will be equally exciting, beginning with a good breakfast and visiting the home of a local family. Forming part of the Caboclos, they will share with us their traditions and cosmovision, as well as some local farming techniques. After that we will head to the lodge for lunch and free time to swim in the refreshing waters of Rio Negro. Finally, we’ll head back to Manaus.
