Description

In a single day, we would like to guide you to the summits of Ben Macdui (1,309m) and the Cairngorm peak (1,245m).

Located in the Scottish Highlands, in the Cairngorm National Park, these two peaks offer some fantastic climbs. And from their summits, you will get to enjoy some sensational views of the stunning highlands of northern Scotland.

In the midst of the Cairngorm mountains, both of the peaks you will get to climb on this trip are positioned in a wild region. With no nearby cities to speak of, you will feel like you are in a different time. And in the case of Ben Macdui, the summit is even said to be haunted by the Old Grey Man, further adding to the mystique of the isolated area where the peak is located.

Throughout the trip, we will be crossing an enormous plateau. Our trek will stretch to approximately 18 kilometers, with 900 meters of ascent. As a result of the distance covered, participants should be in good physical condition. However, because the climbs are not technical, no mountaineering experience is necessary.

With a relatively easy, and incredibly scenic path that will take you across the plateau, this trek is amazing. And with the hike culminating at the summits of 2 great peaks, you will have an experience you will never forget. To enjoy it for yourself, just send us a request.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
