As well as hiking opportunities there are some great places to scramble. Aonach Eagach is a popular choice for a one-day steep walk and scramble along a mountain ridge. The West Highland Way is a 154 km stretch of land that makes for a great weeklong hike. This route takes you along Loch Lomand and Trossachs National Park.
The average daily temperatures in summer sit at around 6°C and in winter at around 17°C.
Fly to either Oban Airport in Fort William or Glasgow, then drive to Glencoe.
