Escape to the Montenegrin highlands for a long weekend of canyoning and hiking. From beautiful crystal blue coastline to rugged mountains and black pine forests, experience the beautiful nature that Montenegro has to offer on this trip.
This trip strikes the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. The highlands are pretty remote and home to some spectacular landscapes. We’ll cover this terrain by hiking and canyoning down beautiful waterfalls into natural pools.
Don’t worry if you’re completely new to canyoning, we’ll show you everything you need to know to get going. We’ll also give you in-depth safety briefings.
When you’re not canyoning or hiking, you’ll be able to relax on the beach. You’ll also get to explore the medieval Old Kotor Town, a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. Your guide will also be able to take you through the rich history of this area.

Itinerary
Day 1: First day
We’ll pick you up at Dubrovnik Airport, and we’ll drive along the Adriatic Coast. You’ll be able to look out on the medieval cities of Herceg Novi, Budva and Kotor. We’ll make a stop in Kotor for lunch and a city tour, where you’ll get to see the protected sites and take in awesome views of the Southern Adriatic Sea.
You’ll finish up the day settling into your accommodation for the trip, the Old Bar.
Day 2: Second day
Right after breakfast, we’ll head to the Medjurecki Canyon, where you’ll get sorted with all the equipment you need for the day. We’ll get you up to speed on all the safety tips you need. Then it’ll be time to hit one of the best canyons in the Balkans.
We’ll head to the old town of Bar in the afternoon, and you’ll have some free time to spend swimming or relaxing.
Day 3: Third day
You can have a leisurely breakfast on your last morning in Montenegro before we drop you at the airport.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
