Description

Join me for a fun and unforgettable canyoning experience in the Sierra de Guara Natural Park, one of the most beautiful canyoning areas in Europe.

The Peonera canyon is a true classic of the region, known for its crystal-clear turquoise water, natural pools, and impressive limestone formations. It is a very enjoyable canyon, perfect for experiencing the essence of canyoning in a stunning natural setting.

This is a full-day canyoning adventure at a relaxed and enjoyable pace, combining walking, swimming, optional jumps, and time to enjoy the incredible surroundings. During the day, we will also take a break for a picnic, enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.

Peonera is suitable for beginners and families with children from 9 years old. It offers a slightly more playful and dynamic experience than other introductory canyons, with the possibility of higher optional jumps for those who feel comfortable, while always respecting each participant’s comfort level. No jump is ever mandatory.

Beyond the adventure itself, the Peonera canyon is also a unique natural environment that deserves to be respected and preserved. We practice an eco-responsible approach to canyoning, aiming to minimize our impact on the ecosystem, respect wildlife and vegetation, and promote a conscious way of enjoying the mountains. Careful group management and responsible guiding are an essential part of our commitment to sustainable tourism in the Sierra de Guara.

As always, the activity is guided in a safe and progressive way, adapting to the group’s abilities and expectations. My priority is to ensure a fun, safe, and memorable experience while maintaining a respectful and low-impact approach to this unique natural environment.

I am a certified canyoning guide with more than 15 years of experience in the Pyrenees and Sierra de Guara, and all technical equipment is provided.

If you are looking for a full-day canyoning experience in one of the most iconic river canyons in Spain, Peonera is an excellent choice.

Canyoning Guide

Canyoning Guide / Sportive Technician in Canyons from Spain

With more than 15 years of experience in the Pyrenees and Sierra de Guara, I offer structured canyoning experiences in the Pyrenees and Sierra de Guara, combining adventure, safety, and a responsible approach to the mountains.

I specialise in canyoning experiences that combine adventure, nature, and a responsible way of exploring the mountains, with a strong focus on safety, small groups, and environmental respect.

Beyond the sport itself, I also share knowledge about the natural environment, helping participants better understand the landscapes we move through and the Pyrenean mountain ecosystems.

My programs are designed to offer different styles of canyoning, from accessible family-friendly descents to more dynamic alpine canyoning experiences for active people looking to go a step further in the mountains.

Each canyoning day is an opportunity to explore the Pyrenees from the inside, moving through water-carved landscapes shaped over thousands of years.

I follow an eco-conscious guiding approach, aiming to minimise impact on these fragile environments and encourage a more respectful and meaningful way of enjoying nature.

Whether you are discovering canyoning for the first time or looking for a more sporty alpine experience, I will guide you safely through some of the most beautiful canyons in the Spanish Pyrenees, adapted to your level and experience.

The guide Diego was fantastic. He looked out for our safety with lots of patience and a sense of fun. The canyoning was an experience to remember.

John

Monica was an excellent guide and did a great job of making all of the trip participants comfortable even after accounting for various experience levels. She offered interesting commentary about the park, and she was also conscious to take good pictures on her waterproof camera. I cannot recommend the trip enough.
