Description

The Peonera is one of the most popular canyons in Sierra de Guara, Huesca. This trip is your chance to enjoy a playful canyoning adventure with an expert local guide in the area!

Canyoning combines hiking, scrambling, climbing, jumping and swimming. The Sierra y Cañones de Guara Nature Reserve is the place where this exhilarating sport first started in Spain. Because the landscape is made up of a limestone mountain chain with deep canyons, river gorges and caves, it is the ideal spot to practice this fun activity.

Thanks to its high number of jumps and thrilling drops, the Peonera is one of the best places to try canyoning in Sierra de Guara. On this trip we will explore crystal clear pools, natural water slides, amazing waterfalls and flooded caves.

The outing is suitable for all levels, so you can bring your kids with you if they can swim. Furthermore, we can explore the area for one or several days. An adventurous spirit is what matters most!

So, if you want to experience canyoning in a wild natural environment, please contact me. Let me guide you through one of the best aquatic descents of Sierra de Guara!

I also offer canyoning trips in other popular spots of the area, for example my Vero River tour!

About the guide

guide profile img

I've been having a strong passion for outdoor sports for over 15 years. In the last 5 years, I've been working as a professional guide specialized in climbing and canyoning. My favourite is rock climbing, it doesn't matter the style (sport, trad, dws, bouldes, single or multipitch routes) the importat thing is climb high. As a native Mallorcan, Psicobloc or Deep Water Soloing, is in his genes. While he has a deep appreciation for the crags of Mallorca, Catalonia and Aragon, he has also climbed in Morocco, Turkey, Italy, France, Slovenia, Croatia, Tajikistan and China.
