Description

Would you like to join a unique hut-to-hut guided hiking tour in the Aiguilles Rouges? Then join local IML certified hiking guide, François, on this amazing 5-day program that will allow you to enjoy some of the most beautiful spots in the region.

François knows the area like the palm of his hand, not only was he born and raised there, his family settled in the region over 500 years ago! Therefore, he is the ideal guide for this tour as he will not only be able to take you to the best places in the Aiguilles Rouges Natural Reserve and its surroundings, but he will also be able to share all of his knowledge about the region too!

Additionally, this tour is a great option for those with less hut-to-hut hiking experience that want to try this type of adventure and put themselves to test in an awe-inspiring natural environment. However, you should not underestimate its intensity. You will need a good fitness level in order to tackle an average of more or less 1000m of positive and negative elevation gain in a day. Furthermore, although this tour takes place for the most part on “classic” type trails, there are a few passages that you may find a bit technical depending on your mountaineering experience.

On the way, you will enjoy catching sight of Ibex, beautiful mountain lakes, of the Bossons glacier, the gorgeous Valley of Bérard, the Mont Blanc massif, and of other unique mountains with rock formations. You can find an outline of the itinerary below.

Also, keep in mind that reaching Lac Blanc is often difficult before July due to the large quantities of snow. Consequently, the best time to plan your trip is from mid-July to mid-September. If you wish to plan a family adventure, we can organize a shorter Aiguilles Rouge program that is suited to the whole family.

So, are you ready to join a unique hut-to-hut guided hiking program in the Aiguilles Rouges? Then contact us now and let’s start planning an unforgettable adventure!

Super ! Nous avons passé une excellente après-midi avec Willy ! Nous avons eu des conseils et des recommandations pour pouvoir continuer la pratique de via ferrata. Je recommande vivement cette expérience

Lena

We had a very exciting day with Willy! We had never done a via ferrata before and did Pont-a-Lesse and Marche-les-Dames in one day. Willy explained the different techniques very well and adapted to our wishes and the circumstances perfectly. Gauthier adviced us in the beginning correctly that Marche-les-Dames would be better for us than Les-Grandes-Malades in terms of difficulty. Overall we were very happy with the choice, spend a great day outdoors and can definitely recommend this adventure!

We had a really fantastic day of bouldering in Fontainebleau with our guide Ivan. He is very experienced and knows the region well. He showed us great boulders and routes that we would not have found on our own, and kept a good pace to keep us going for the full six hours.

Derek

My guide Ivan was friendly and helpful. With his tips I was able to climb routes that seemed impossible at first

Leo was brilliant, engaging with kids and always asked what we wanted. Top bloke all round
