Description

Smith Rock State Park is a world famous climbing destination located in the heart of Oregon. Its tuff and basalt cliffs are perfect for rock climbers of all levels.

There are 3,000 sport, traditional and multi-pitch routes to choose from. With its perfect rock, warm weather and stunning scenery, Smith Rock State Park will offer you everything you want out of a rock climbing weekend…a much more!

Smith Rock was the first place in the US were rock faces were bolted, creating a revolution among the rock climbing community. It has since become a sort of mecca. People come here from every corner of the world! However, I can guarantee that you will always find an empty route, so you don’t need to worry about crowds.

There are more than 3,000 documented routes in Smith Rock State Park. You can come back again and again and find plenty of new things to try. You will also be able to choose between shade or sun, depending on what you wish for that day.

Prior indoor rock climbing experience is a pre-requisite for this weekend. However, no outdoor rock climbing experience is necessary.
