Picture a white paradise splashed by pine forests and pointy elevations, and you will be able to foresee the winter scenery that awaits at Collada de Montmalús, Andorra.
Crowned by the Montmalús peak (2,781 m) this ‘collada’ (or mountain pass), is a classic trail for snowshoeing. My itinerary starts at the ski resort of Grandvalira, in the Grau Roig section, and continues through alluring scenery towards the Montmalus peak.
We will go over 7,5 km of the most varied terrains and landscapes: a black pine forest, alpine hillsides covered in snow, and the beautiful lake Estany de Montmalús. For 6 to 7 hours, we will cover ourselves in beautiful snow and astounding landscapes.
If it looks amazing in your mind, it will feel even better once you arrive. Give yourself this treat! Book this trip now and cherish it forever.
Andorra has a lot to offer, and so do I! I have other exciting snowshoeing programs in Bony de les Neres and in Estany de l’Estanyó.
